Ping, which is linked to your iTunes account, you can create a personal profile and share your purchases with friends and critics and artists you love. It is much like a basic Facebook or Twitter RSS News, but only on music. Currently Ping feels underdeveloped. You can not share your listening habits, such as Last.fm, and sharing book is limited to iTunes Store, not your own library. There is no opportunity to share what you listening to right now, which is pretty terrible! Ping is bound to develop and improve soon.
The basic function of the iTunes library has no comparison and synchronization with iPods, iPhones and iPads is excellent. iTunes 10 new social features are interesting, but not limited to the moment.
